The history of London is a fascinating story, from the early Roman invaders through to the pioneers of the Victorian age and the blitz of World War II.

There is plenty to see of London’s past history and there is a significant amount of historic sites in London.

You can walk through the ruins of London's Roman amphitheatre and have a cup of tea at Charles Dickens’s house.

London’s streets may not be paved with gold but they are certainly paved with history!
